Degenhart Amber Art Glass Robin On Nest Heart Mark “D”

This is a lovely Degenhart amber covered bird on nest dish. It is called Robin on a Nest with Berry and it measures 5” long by 5” high, about 4.5" tall. There is a D marked in a heart at the bottom of this item. It is that is in excellent condition.  

Degenhart is the name used by collectors for the products of the Crystal Art Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio. John and Elizabeth Degenhart started the glass-works in 1947. This item was released prior to 1978, when Degenhart Glass closed.  

The "D" in a heart, Degenhart trademark was replaced by the new Boyd trademark, a "B" in a diamond.
